Atlanta Deejay Arrested For Hiring Hitman to Kill His Wife

A suburban Atlanta disc jockey has been arrested on suspicion of orchestrating his wife’s death.
East Point, Ga. Police Lt. Cliff Chandler said Andre Jason Pugh — better known as “DJ Awesome” – conspired with another person who was hired to kill Pugh’s wife. The identity of the allged shooter has not been released to the media.
According to Fulton County Jail records, Pugh was booked Saturday on charges of murder, conspiracy to commit murder and conspiracy to commit burglary. The jail records also reveal that bond hadn’t been set for Pugh as of Sunday evening.
The police chief also said Pugh’s wife, Tiffany Pugh, was found dead on Nov. 23. It’s unclear if Pugh has an attorney, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
