
The Comcast Foundation announced today it has made multiple financial grants totaling more than $110,000 to a variety of schools and organizations that support the underserved throughout Georgia.
“Comcast is proud to support our community partners across Georgia,” said Andy Macke, VP of External Affairs for Comcast. “These grants further our efforts from our very successful Comcast Cares Day in April 2014 to be a key partner to those in need.”
The Atlanta Partnership of Business and Education, Inc. received $25,000.00 and the United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta received a $12,880 award. Other grant beneficiaries include: 100 Black Men of Atlanta, American Red Cross, Boy Scouts of America Council, Boys and Girls Clubs, Central State University, East Lake Foundation, Latin American Association, the Ron Clark Academy and the United Way.
