A constellation of celebrities sparkled like ornaments on the red carpet premiere of the VH1 original movie, “Drumline: A New Beat,” on opening night of the 5th Annual Bronzelens Film Festival in Atlanta.
A cavalcade of Hollywood stars traipsed into the eclectic, artsy movie house on Thursday at the Landmark Midtown Art Cinema to view the Nick Cannon-produced sequel to the urban classic, including  Jasmine Burke, Lisa Arrindell Anderson, Carl Payne, Keshia Knight Pulliam, Big Tigger, director Billie Woodruff (who also directed Zane’s Addicted) and many more.
“Drumline: A New Beat,” which features a Cannon cameo, takes audiences on a foray into the next generation of aspiring black college band members and their insatiable quest to make the band. The Bronzelens Film Festival (bronzelens.com or #BLFF14 on Twitter) began on Thursday and continues until Sunday, Oct. 26, 2014.
