Soul singer Tank caused a Twitter uproar when he imprudently asked his fan base why dark-skinned black women have a problem with light-skinned black women. 
Wrong move.
He asked the question because he posted a photo of his girlfriend, Zena Foster, on Instagram who is very light-skinned and someone made a comment that set him off.
It was bad enough at this point, but Tank would not stop:
A Twitter follower tried to shut Tank down by telling him his perspective and priorities were out of whack:
Tank didn’t take too kindly to that and clapped back hard:
Those put down comments incited a Twitter stampede by a herd of angry fans who felt he was putting them down. Check out their responses:
