What kind of affect do you have on people? Do you make them feel comfortable when around you or nervous? Does their face brighten up when they see you or is it one of discernment. How do you make people feel at just your mere presence? When we do the things we do or say the things we say, we don’t only have to think about how we feel about it, but about how it affects others. And depending on that affect, is it worth continuing to do or say what we want daily, in light of how it or how you affect people. Upon looking outside of your world and looking at the people and world around you, if you find that you’re affecting people in a negative way, then you have to stop and see not only how it is affecting you, but your relationship with GOD. If you are receiving negative feedback from your affects, then you are not effectively living life according to GOD’s Law. When asked of Jesus what was the most important commandment, Jesus replied,
“37 …Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”
And the second is like unto itself, which means just as important, is Love thy neighbor as you love yourself. So if you’re not loving your neighbor, affecting people in a positive way, is that a reflection of how you’re loving yourself? Or of your relationship with GOD?
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
Make sure wherever you are, what ever you do, you’re bringing and leaving a positive affect, by Loving GOD with All your Heart, Mind, Body and Soul.
