Whitney Houston’s longtime friend and producer Clive Davis announced Tuesday on “Today” that Legacy Records will release the late singer’s first live album, “Whitney Houston Live: Her Greatest Performances,” by the end of 2014.
“Stemming from the ’80s and ’90s, she, without question, is the greatest vocalist in the world. I want history to know that,” Davis shared with Today. “This CD/DVD will establish that there was no one like her. It’s a phenomenal album.”
Unlike her upcoming Lifetime biopic, the live album has the full blessing of Whitney’s family. “Without question,” Davis said.
The CD/DVD combo is due for release on Nov. 10.
