Once again, Lil Kim is trying to eat off the plate that Nicki Minaj prepared.
A few years back when Minaj first burst on the scene, Lil Kim strapped a saddle on the Pink princess’ back and ride her back into stardom and relevance by dissing her hard publicly. The tactic proved futile and embarrassing for the 90’s female rap star as Lil Kim still released her album to low sales and even lower acclaim.
We suppose the former Notorious BIG protégé is giving it one more try.
Just days after Beyonce and Minaj released the heat-seeking single “Flawless” remix, Lil Kim pushed out her remix version to the duo’s remix. In the process, Kim fired off some less-than-subtle jabs at the new millennium rap superstar Minaj.
“Am I trippin’ or did this Ho just say my name?/ Queen of rap, f–k outta here, Queen’s back, f–k outta here/ Time to get this rap b-tch up outta here,” raps Kim in response to a perceived slight from the “Anaconda” MC.
