Top 10 Things to do in Atlanta This Weekend, Aug. 1-3

this weekend

Art is in abundance this weekend in Atlanta.
If you want to partake in spoken word art, canvas art, hair art, musical art or just want to celebrate art, you will be able to do these things and more via the National Black Arts Festival, which is already underway, or through the Bronner Bros. International Hair Show, which will take over the Georgia World Congress Center in downtown Atlanta.
If you prefer to sit and listen to musical art at its highest, then check out the likes of jazz legend Will Downing at the Chastain Ampitheater or roll over to the Wolfreek Ampitheater for Tank and Ginuwine.
Whatever your taste or mood this weekend, there’s plenty of opportunities to get immersed in art.
