T.I. Bringing 'Sisterhood of Hip Hop' Reality Show to TV This Summer

Sisterhood-of-Hip-HopRap royalty T.I. is powering a new reality show about young female emcees trying to break out in the hip hop game that is very estrogen challenged.
With the help of producers 51 Minds (“T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle”), Oxygen network is premiering “Sisterhood of Hip Hop,” which follows five ride-or-die young women who dream of making it big in the music business.
The hip hop game is starving for fresh female lyricists. Odds are heavily stacked against the women — any woman trying to enter the rap business — which makes the storyline that more compelling.
The cast members are: Brianna Perry, Nyemiah Supreme, Diamond, Bia and Siya.
To ensure high TV ratings, a star-studded list of hip hop stars will make cameo appearances in the eight completed episodes, including Pharrell, Rick Ross, Eve, Lil Jon, Irv Gotti, Tank and Travie McCoy, and more.
“Sisters of Hip Hop” will premiere on the Oxygen channel on August 12.
