The subject of proms and the curious clothing choices made by its teen attendants was broached again because President Obama’s daughter, Malia, was attending her first prom. We can guarantee you that the 15-year-old high school sophomore would not and did participate in that important rite of passage wearing anything like the occupants of this dubious and disgraceful list.
It is still unfathomable to most seasoned adults that parents would endorse or even allow their children to leave the house in such hideous, fashion offensive, common-sense defying costumes instead of donning gowns and tuxedos for their high school prom.
Then again, by the time they are in their late teens, it’s probably too late to try to lasso in any hard-headed juvenile determined to leave a permanent imprint on their high school careers. The following prom outfits wander way past laughable and imprudent to being darn near felonious.
You may want to don sunglasses before you proceed, lest you injure the cornea in your eyes.
