Kirk Franklin on ‘The American Bible Challenge’

The Game Show network has a great mix and a monster hit with the game show “The American Bible Challenge.” It is the station’s highest rated original series of all time. The show returns this season with hosts Jeff Foxworthy andKirk Franklin.

GRAMMY® winner and multi-platinum-selling musician and producer Kirk Franklin, known for his unique style of Gospel music serves as musical co-host.  The beloved gospel artist took a few minutes to talk about the popular show and here’s what Frankiln had to tell us.
What did you think of your debut on the show last season?
It was cool. I learned I didn’t know as much as I thought I did. (laughs) So, I learned so much.
What’s different this season?
There’s more music and more engagement.
What did you most enjoy?
I just love people I had such a great time with the people on the show.
What was your favorite moment?
There were these religious sisters on and they had swagger! It was great I really enjoyed them so much. We had fun.
What is your favorite scripture?
Romans 8: 28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Season three of “The American Bible Challenge” will bring a new set of diverse, fun and colorful contestants which include a team of former beauty queens, motorcycle riding priests, police officers and Mormon moms.  The show has also added brand new games that put the contestant’s spiritual and physical talents to the test with new categories that include; Christ or Klingon in which contestants have to guess whether words are from the Bible or Star Trek’s Klingon language; Curse You Autocorrect, which requires contestants to decipher a typed Bible passage that has been autocorrected, and Nazareth Enquirer with sensational Biblical headlines that could have appeared in a tabloid.
Season three of “The American Bible Challenge” premieres on Thursday, May 22 at 8 p.m. EST
