Ashview Heights Community Clean Up – Saturday, May 10
Atlanta City Councilmember Cleta Winslow will join District 4 residents for the Ashview Heights Community Clean Up Saturday, May 10 at 9:00 a.m.
Ashview Heights is in the area of Booker T. Washington High School. Volunteers will gather at the Refuge Temple Church located at 105 Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard, SW.
“I am very proud of the effort volunteers have made in helping us to turn around our community,” said Winslow.
Councilmember Winslow is also pleased to see how former Atlanta University students who live in the area are taking an interest in the community. Many of the former students who are now homeowners are volunteers for this clean up and are making efforts to address illegal activities going on in the neighborhood.
