Incident Brief:
1) Armed Robbery (01/24/14 @ 0835 hours in Zone 2) The Cobb County Police Department’s Crimes Against Persons Unit is investigating an armed robbery, which occurred at 1391 Veterans Memorial Highway in Austell, Georgia.
According to investigators, the perpetrator came to the front door of the Dollar General and produced a handgun. The perpetrator then forced the employee to open the safe and the then took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the business on foot in an unknown direction.
PERPETRATOR(S): Black male. He was last seen wearing dark clothing and grey Reebok shoes. He was also described as wearing a red “ski” mask and armed with a black semi-automatic handgun.
