'House Hunters' Host Christian Ross Named Youngest President of Atlanta Chapter of Women’s Council of Realtors

CRoss_Side_view_TurquoiseThe Women’s Council of Realtors announced Wednesday that Christian Ross, known for hosting HGTV’s “House Hunters” will be named President of the organization’s Atlanta chapter. Ross, 33, is the youngest president in the history of the 54-year history of the organization.
Known as “The Real Estate Maven”, Ross touts an international client base from Israel to the Bahamas and significant experience in lobbying around property rights, nationally and in the US. She has also been appointed to the 2014 Consumer Communications Committee for the National Association of Realtors.

“Christian Ross has always set herself apart from others by being unafraid to speak with the courage of her convictions and trust her instincts for herself and her clients,” said a release from the Women’s Council of Realtors. “Her unique flair has given her the opportunity to make appearances on HGTV’s House Hunters as well as several magazine and radio spots demonstrating her expertise. All things considered, Christian Ross is a leader on the rise and has a tenacious and unflappable spirit that she hopes to share with the other women (and men) in the Atlanta Chapter of WCR and beyond.”
Ross’ road to the world of real estate is unique. She holds a BA, Mass Media Arts with a concentration in Public Relations from Clark Atlanta University. She started her career in media sales and made her transition into the real estate industry through a role at a real estate firm in Atlanta managing the marketing side of investor relations for the firm. She has been in real estate ever since.
“Through our influence as successful business professionals, women effect positive change in the real estate profession and in the broader community,” said Ross in a statement. “My goal as President of the Women’s Council Atlanta Chapter this year is to bring every member the success they are deserving of as part of our organization.”
Kicking off their first luncheon of the year at The Cherokee Town Club in Buckhead, The Women’s Council of Realtors guest speaker will be Katie Kilpatrick, Senior Vice President of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, who will be sharing information about significant changes impacting the greater metro-Atlanta area. Guests will enjoy a three-course meal with networking to begin at 11:15 a.m. and lunch to be served by Noon.
