Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson Named 3rd Worst Airport to Get Stuck In

Hartsfield-Jackson_Airport_overview.jpgWhile winter weather in metro Atlanta has made getting in and out of Hartsfield-Jackson Airport seem like a nightmare for some travelers, a new survey finds that Atlanta is not home to the worst airport to be stuck inside.
That’s the good news. The bad news is, it’s one of the nation’s top 5 worst, at least according to one travel dating website.
A new poll conducted by travel dating site, MissTravel.com, examines airport preferences of their users to determine the best and worst airports to get stuck in. Unfortunately for those traveling this week, the worst airports are also those most likely to see weather related delays. The airport servicing our nation’s capital takes the lead in this list of  “America’s Worst Airports to Get Stuck In”:
1. Washington Dulles International Airport
2. LaGuardia Airport
3. Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport
4. Philadelphia International Airport
5. Logan International Airport
6. Newark Liberty International Airport
7. John F. Kennedy International Airport.
8. Los Angeles International Airport
Members surveyed based their reasoning as to why they would prefer to avoid these airports to get stuck in based on factors such as availability of extra amenities, cleanliness, entertainment, and food/shopping selections.
