Falcons Players to Serve Thanksgiving Meals at the Atlanta Mission

Corey_Peters_Creative_commons.jpgIn celebration of Thanksgiving, guard Justin Blalock, defensive end Jonathan Massaquoi and defensive tackle Corey Peters will provide a catered Thanksgiving meal to 100 men from the Shepherd’s Inn, the men’s facility of the Atlanta Mission. The players will provide winter caps to the men, serve food, sign autographs and take photographs throughout the evening.
Established in 1938, Atlanta Mission provides overnight shelter, job attainment programming, long-term residential discipleship programming and transitional housing for more than 950 homeless men, women and children daily. The event will take place on Monday starting at 6 p.m. at the Atlanta Mission, 165 Ivan Allen Jr. Blvd. in Atlanta. Parking is available on Lovejoy Street.
