The Buckhead/Cascade City Chapter (BCCC) of The Links, Inc. will presents the 11th annual Musical Cascades 2013 classical music concert on Saturday, Dec. 7 at Friendship Baptist Church at 10:00am.

The chapter will give $1,000 music education awards to four metro-Atlanta area Musical Arts students during a concert featuring their musical performances.

In its 11th year, the show features live music from scholarship winners, as well as an explanation of the importance of the Arts and the drive, talent and resources needed for students to sustain their musical talent, in the winners’ own words.

“The Musical Cascades 2013 will showcase this year’s scholarship winners and bring together the Atlanta community in support of the arts, with a focus on the contributions and performances of persons of African ancestry,” said event chair, Laura English -Robinson. As part of an overall Arts appreciation program, the BCCC Links Chapter is celebrating, advocating and promoting arts and culture programs for youth and adult audiences.
