Attorney L. Chris Stewart Selected to Participate in Ga. Trial Lawyers Association Inaugural LEAD Program

L. Chris Stewart, Partner at Stewart, Seay, and Felton Trial Attorneys Trial Attorneys, was selected to participate in the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association’s Leadership Education and Advanced Direction (LEAD) program. Stewart is one of 16 lawyers selected to participate in the program.

The Leadership Education and Advanced Direction Program was designed by the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association (GTLA) to identify those lawyers with leadership potential and to train and equip them to serve future leadership roles in both GTLA and in the community.

“It is truly an honor to be selected to participate in the first year of the LEAD program with the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association,” said L. Chris Stewart. “To be recognized by such esteemed attorneys is a testament that hard work, dedication and honing my craft does pay off. I look forward to participating in the program with such an elite group of young attorneys.”

The program will consist of five sessions beginning Nov. 22 -23 in Athens, Ga., and will conclude with a graduation at the GTLA Annual Convention & Gala in Atlanta, April 24 -25, 2014.

Stewart was selected as a 2011, 2012, and 2013 Rising Star Super Lawyer for the State of Georgia. In addition, in 2012 Chris was named on the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s list of Who’s Who in Law as a top Georgia attorney. He was also a finalist for Nation’s Best Advocates: 40 Lawyers under 40. Also, according to a release, Stewart has received multiple jury verdicts and settlements for millions of dollars for his clients including one of the largest premises liability verdicts of 2010 in the state of Georgia, a record $5.1 million pre-trial settlement in 2011 and a 2013 Camden County record verdict of $1.5 million for a rape occurring on a hotel property.
