League of Women Voters of Georgia Release Online Voter Guide

The League of Women Voters of Georgia in cooperation with The Atlanta-Journal Constitution and WSB-TV, has published a non-partisan online voter guide.

The 2013 Voter Guide includes information on candidates for mayor, city council, local board of education, and county ballot referendums.

In addition to Atlanta, coverage areas include: Alpharetta, Auburn, Austell, Avondale Estates, Berekley Lakes, Canton, Carrollton, Chamblee, Chattahoochee Hills, Clarkston, College Park, Dacula, Dalton, Decatur, Doraville, Duluth, Dunwoody, East Point, Fairburn, Forest Park, Gainesville, Grayson, Johns Creek, Jonesboro, Kennesaw, Lake City, Lawrenceville, Loganville, Marietta, Morrow, Norcross, Palmetto, Peachtree Corners, Pine Lake, Roswell, Sandy Springs, Snellville, Union City, and Woodstock.

In addition to this year’s municipal elections, the 2013 Voter Guide includes information on special elections for the state legislature: House District 100, House District 104, House District 127 and Senate District 14.

The 2013 Voter Guide is easy to use: enter your address and zip code to view information provided by the candidates. Citizens may access the Voter Guide by visiting: www.lwvga.org.

All voters should carry an acceptable photo I.D. to the polls. Information on Voter Photo ID Cards and the full list of acceptable photo identification is available at the Secretary of State’s office. (www.sos.ga.gov)
