Rappers Drake & Future Squabble But Patch Up in Time for Tour

Grammy award-winning rapper Drake was in another rap beef. This time Drake had a problem with rapper Future.

It started when Future was interviewed by Billboard magazine for his upcoming album entitled “Honest.” During the interview Future said, “Drake made an album that is full of hits but it doesn’t grab you. They’re not possessive; they don’t make you feel the way I do.”

Future and his mangers were furious with Billboard associate editor Erika Ramirez who published the article. They assumed Future was “off the record” when he made the comments about Drake, and said that his words were “taken out of context.”

“Respect to Billboard, disappointed on being misquoted. Always love for my fam Drizzy Drake,” Future said.

This statement was not enough initially. Drake kicked Future off his “Would You Like A Tour?” tour.

But by the time the 39-city tour got underway Oct. 18 in Pittsburgh, Future was back on the program.

Future, who was set to earn about $40,000 per show, was preparing to file a lawsuit against Drake for lost wages, or about $1.5 million when the two ironed things out.

R&B singer Miguel will also be on the tour with Drake.
