Detroit – Grammy Nominated Musician and Producer Brandon Williams is on a mission to bring back Classic R&B by any means necessary. Now debuting “Stronger” the first release from his forthcoming album “XII” (Spring 2014) the single features the sweet vocals of Jean Baylor, along with her husband, acclaimed musician Marcus Baylor on drums. Written & Produced by Brandon Williams and Marcus & Jean Baylor (a.k.a. “The Baylors”), “Stronger” is a heartfelt ballad that tells the age old story of the ups & downs in a relationship that requires that inner strength to make it through. Williams says, “With the world we live in today, people are very quick to walk away from relationships at the first sign of trouble. That has to change. We need more messages like “Stronger” encouraging and promoting not only love, but endurance.”

“It was an absolute pleasure working with Brandon on “XII” and putting our heads together to create “Stronger”, a new R&B classic. We hope this song will help others to stick the rough times out. We’re also very proud to be a part of a project that will represent what R&B music has always been, Baylor said.”

Williams, a direct protégé of Grammy and Billboard super producer Michael J. Powell, is a powerhouse of musical knowledge and ability. His talents include production, arranging, engineering, and playing more than 15 instruments. He was named 2012 Entertainer of the Year and 2013 Drummer of the Year by the Detroit Black Music Awards, nominated for a Grammy in 2009 for Vickie Winans’ “How I Got Over”, and was also featured in the Who’s Who In Black Detroit as one of the “Men To Watch” in 2010.

As a producer, Brandon has lent his hand to such artists as Vickie Winans, Jadakiss, Janet Jackson, J. Dilla, Gene Dunlap, Bilal, Pharoahe Monch and more. As an artist, he has performed and toured with some of the industry’s finest including Robert Glasper, Kim Burrell, Jaguar Wright, Kelis, Talib Kweli, and Jay Electronica just to name a few.
