Former member of Xscape and HelloBeautiful.com blogger Kandi Buruss recently spoke candidly about the group’s breakup, as well as her past sexual relationship with producer Jermaine Dupri.
She says the reason Xscape broke up was because one of the other members wanted to go solo after the second album. Then Buruss admits to having crossed the line with Jermaine Dupri, and addresses the group member who put her on blast during a radio interview.
She then addresses crossing the line with Jermaine Dupri:
“… You know how you can be around your friends talking about sex or whatever and then you be thinking like, I wonder is it that good, you know? Let’s be realistic, it wasn’t me trying to get anything out of the situation. We already had hit records. We already had hits. It wasn’t like I was trying to do it to get somewhere. It was just out of curiosity.”
