District 3 Town Hall Meeting Set For Tuesday Night

Atlanta City Councilmember Ivory Lee Young Jr. will host a District 3 town hall meeting from 7 until 9 PM on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at the Foundry at Puritan Mill, 916 Joseph E. Lowery Blvd.

Constituents will have a chance to discuss issues facing their neighborhoods with the Councilmember as well as communicate their concerns with top city officials and other agencies. Updates will also be given on ongoing initiatives and projects across District 3.

The following departments will be in attendance: the Department of Public Works including Solid Waste Services/ Recycling/Transportation/Park Atlanta; the City of Atlanta’s Bureau of Code Enforcement-Housing Code Department; the Department of Watershed Management, the Atlanta Fire-Rescue Department, the Atlanta Police Department, the Mayor’s Office of Sustainability, the Atlanta Workforce Development Agency and the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office.

Councilmember Young is looking forward to meeting you and hearing first-hand your concerns and the priorities that you define for the district. Your input is vital to elevating the quality of life, to improving service delivery and drafting of legislation that will result in a positive impact in the district and citywide.
