FOX Sports Detroit is proud to provide exclusive live coverage of batting practice for both teams on select dates during the Detroit Tigers season. The special broadcasts will be available in high-definition on FOX Sports Detroit PLUS and will indulge viewers with a replicated experience of being at the ballpark.
“Fans normally don’t see what the Tigers players go through on a daily basis before a game,” said Greg Hammaren, senior vice president and general manager of FOX Sports Detroit. “Our show will bring the ballpark to fans with coverage of Tigers players batting practice routines and show the opponent’s BP during the show.”
FSD broadcasters John Keating and Craig Monroe will provide commentary on the show and answer questions on air from Twitter during BP using the #TigersBP hashtag.
Batting Practice Cam is scheduled to air on the following dates on FOX Sports Detroit PLUS starting at 4:30 p.m. EDT:
· Saturday, July 27, vs. Philadelphia Phillies
· Saturday, Aug. 3, vs. Chicago White Sox
