A shooting took place around midnight on Monday, leaving three men shot and one dead in the parking lot of the Rosa Burney Park apartments in southwest Atlanta on Windsor St.
“The only thing we’ve learned is that people heard gunshots and looked out and saw some people scattering,” Atlanta police Lt. Paul Guerrucci told WSB-TV.
The victims had already been taken to Grady Memorial Hospital in cars when officers arrived.
The shooting happened during a confrontation with two groups of men, resident Antonio Jackson told CBS Atlanta.
Detectives collected evidence from the scene for hours but were reportedly having trouble finding witnesses.
