Seeding and Pairings Announced for the 2013 SIAC Baseball Championships

The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) announces the pairings for the 2013 SIAC Baseball Championship, hosted in Ozark, AL at the historic Eagle Stadium on Wednesday, April 24 through Saturday, April 27.

For the second year in a row, Stillman College enters this year’s eight team double-elimination tournament as the top seed out of the West division after finishing the regular season with a 15-3 record in the SIAC, and 26-14 overall. The Tigers will face #4E Paine in the first round on Wednesday afternoon at 3 p.m.

Finishing the regular season with a 15-5 record, Albany State University enters the tournament as the top seed out of the East Division after finishing the regular season with a 15-5 regular season record. The Golden Rams will face #4W Tuskegee, 9 am on Wednesday morning.

Other first round games on Wednesday, include #2W Kentucky Sate versus #3E Benedict at noon and #2E Claflin against #3W Miles at 6 p.m.
