Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Atlanta Workforce Development Authority are hosting a job fair on Wednesday to fill jobs at the airport and at surrounding companies at the Georgia International Convention Center, reports WXIA.
Participating companies include: Standard Parking, Budget Car Rental, Airport Retail Management, ExpressJet Airlines, Atlanta Restaurant Partners and New South Construction. Positions include: drivers, sales managers, customer service representatives, hosts, security officers, mechanics, cashiers and cooks.
Georgia’s most recent seasonally adjusted unemployment rate, which came for the month of January, was 8.7 percent
The job fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Georgia International Convention Center.
The Georgia International Convention Center is located at 2000 Convention Center Concourse in College Park. Candidates are encouraged to take MARTA to the airport and then take the ATL SkyTrain to the convention center.
