The man suspected pulling a drive-by shooting near Bad Boy recording artist French Montana’s tour bus is in police custody and has been charged with murder, according to Philadelphia’s Fox 29.

According to police, the suspect, Frank Biggs, was the passenger in a black sedan police identified at the scene. Biggs reportedly gave investigators a full statement about the shooting that left Jowann King, 26, of Flushing, N.Y., dead and another person injured.

Biggs is now facing murder, attempted murder, and aggravated assault charges.

French Montana was not injured during the shooting and the rapper has made several public statements over the past week insisting that he nor anyone associated with him were the targets of the shooting. People inside his tour bus that night included Maybach Music Group’s Meek Mill.

Philadelphia police officials said they have no evidence that the shooter was aiming to harm Montana or his entourage. No motive for the shooting has been revealed yet.

Outside of police headquarters, the rapper addressed reporters and said ”Nobody was shooting at me.”

French Montana also addressed the matter via Twitter.

My bus was located in the vicinity of the incident that took plac last night in Philadelphia. I had a peaceful concert and was not involved—

The tour bus had just arrived at the Penns Landing Holiday Inn Thursday night when the shots were fired. Rapper French Montana was in Philadelphia to promote his “Excuse My French” debut album.

Police say a crowd surrounded his bus as the sedan pulled up.

The driver of the car was not charged.
