Airport security confiscated 100 guns at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport this year, making Atlanta’s airport number one in guns found at security checkpoints for the second year in a row.

The Dallas-Fort Worth Airport was next on the list, with 75 guns confiscated this year.

That number was confirmed by the Transportation Administration. In 2011 spokesman Jonathan Allen said that 69 guns were found by agents at Hartsfield-Jackson, which was the most in the nation for that year.

Several notable people have been arrested at the airport after attempting to take guns through security checkpoints, police say. The arrests include Chick-fil-A executive Sheryl Rexrode and Harold Duncan, a member of the rap group Travis Porter.

The TSA reports 1,500 firearms were found at all the nation’s airports combined this year. That’s an increase from the 1,300 guns found last year, they said.
