Cabaret To Benefit At-Risk Youth & Inner City Males

“Music and Service: Uplifting the Human Spirit” is the theme for the fall fundraiser of the Community Council of Metropolitan Atlanta Inc. (CCMA). On Saturday, Nov. 17, at 7:30 p.m., this theme will be put into action during the Soulful Interludes Cabaret hosted by the CCMA at Ivy (Alpha Kappa Omega) Foundation Center, located at 3850 Stone Road in southwest Atlanta.

The cabaret will feature an evening of soul music, live entertainment, an open reception, and a silent auction, while raising proceeds that will benefit the CCMA’s Priority Male Initiative for young Black males, D.N.A. (Devoted, Noble and Accountable) Young Fatherhood Initiative and the Live B4U Die Summit for at-risk youth.

Guests will be entertained by the phenomenal violinist Delores Major, multi-talented vocalist Jabari Grover and his band, the hilarious comedian Larry “Coop De Veal (aka Rev. Charles), and other guest performers. Tax deductible donations of $30 per person will include admission, hors d’oeuvres, entertainment and fun-filled activities.
The Community Council of Metropolitan Atlanta Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides free programs and services to at-risk youth and young inner city males to help them live better lives. Businesses and organizations are invited to serve as partners and sponsors in these life-enhancing initiatives.
