Tonight, President Barack Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney will have their second of three presidential debates.

The contest will be a town-hall style debate where questions to the candidates wiill come from undecided voters who have been selected by the Gallup organization for this one-night-only affair at Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y. The debate airs from 9:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and will be moderated by CNN’s chief political correspondent Candy Crowley.

For Atlantans looking to get out and watch the debate with some libations and an audience, there are several debate watch parties going on around Atlanta.

WAOK’s Lorraine Jacques White will be hosting an event at the World Class Events Center, 3129 Piedmont Road. Cascade Rd’s JR Crickets will also be hosting a debate party, according to owner KK Scott. You can find that event at J.R. Crickets, 5495 Cascade Rd.

Atlanta’s Republicans interested in watching the debate with likeminded folks can head to the Hudson Grille in Midtown where the Atlanta Young Republicans and the Fulton County Republican Party hosted a party for the Oct. 3 debate and will likely hold the event again tonight.
