Bishop T.D. Jakes and The Potter’s House bring the popular women-only conference, “Woman, Thou Art Loosed!” to Atlanta. Women of various backgrounds, cultures and ages are invited to come together to learn how they can use their strengths, gifts and abilities to overcome any obstacle to transform their lives in a positive and exciting way. “Woman, Thou Art Loosed!” is a three-day conference featuring powerful and inspiring speakers, including pastor and author Sheryl Brady, plus Bishop T.D. Jakes, First Lady Serita Jakes, Author Dr. Cindy Trim and Motivational Speaker Pastor Paula White. The conference will take place on Oct. 4 – Sat., Oct. 6 at Philips Arena.
The conference will also feature the popular segment from previous years called GirlTalk, where a panel of experts will discuss the needs of women in finances, health, fitness and relationships.
“Woman, Thou Art Loosed!” began as a Sunday school curriculum in 1992 by Bishop Jakes and has since birthed a best-selling book, a widely-acclaimed stage play, a GRAMMY®-nominated CD and a national conference that has drawn more than a half million women from around the world. In October 2004, “Woman, Thou Art Loosed!” developed into a movie in collaboration with Reuben Cannon Productions, became a box office top-10 hit and won a 2005 NAACP Image Award.
