Clark Atlanta University senior Robert Brown was invited to NFL Green Bay Packers rookie camp on May 10 to tryout for the team along with other invited players. Brown, a native of Miami, Fla., is a two-sport athlete at CAU in football and baseball and will graduate this month with a degree in Business Marketing. In 2011, he recorded 140 receiving yards on 11 receptions with one touchdown, and had a career-high 418 receiving yards and 24 receptions during the 2010 season. Recently on the baseball field, Brown crushed a grand slam to lead the Panthers to a 13-9 victory over conference foe and AUC rival Morehouse College at Bill Evans Field. Brown’s homerun blast on April 22 gave the Panthers an early 5-0 advantage in the third inning on their way to the win.
