KIPP South Fulton Academy girl’s basketball team recently won the charter schools’ 2012 LukeSports Championship by defeating Ivy Prep Academy, 45-44. The 8-1 KSF Fire won over the league’s No. 1 seed and undefeated Lady Monarchs to claim the title. DeKalb Academy of Technology and the Environment won the boys’ championship over KIPP South Fulton, while KIPP South Fulton also placed first in the dance competition.
