On Saturday, Nov. 5,  a Get Out The Vote rally will be held at West End Mall at 9 a.m. The bus will then proceed to Fairburn, College Park, Riverdale, East Point, and Lithonia where it will be met by local rallies. The times and locations of the stops are as  follows:

The kick-off press conference and rally at West End Mall will include speaker, the Rev. Albert Love; at 10:00 a.m. in Fairburn, a GOTV rally is scheduled with Mayor Mario Avery at 800 Broad St., with Rev. Love; at 11 a.m. in College Park a GOTV Rally with Councilman Carn and Rev. Love at the Recreation Center, 2300 Godby Road; at 12:15 p.m., at Annie Laura’s Kitchen, at 6922 Hwy 85 Riverdale,  a GOTV rally with Mayor Evelyn Wynn Dixon, Rep. Salaam, Mellissa Prescott and Rev. Love is scheduled.

Also, at 1:30 p.m. at East Point City Hall, there will be a GOTV rally with Mayor Earnestine Pittman and Rev. Love, and at 3 p.m. in Lithonia, there will be a GOTV rally with Mayor Tonya Peterson and Rev. Love.

VEC has provided information about voting schedules and issues, inspiration through rallies at eight local churches and now involvement in GOTV.
