Jazz 91.9 WCLK will present a spectacular evening of Jazz, “All For You, Freddy Cole,” a grand tribute and 80th birthday celebration for living legend Freddy Cole on Friday, Oct. 28, 6 p.m. at the Atlanta History Center in the Grand Overlook Ballroom, 130 West Paces Ferry Road, N.E.
The evening will include live musical tributes from some of Freddy’s favorite artists and friends to include Vanessa Rubin, Carmen Bradford, Houston Person and Ernie Andrews, to name a few, all under the direction of Joe Gransden and his 15-piece Big Band.
The highlight of the night will be a performance by Freddy and the Freddy Cole Trio. There will be video salutes and more.
The public is invited to share in this celebration in recognition of a living legend who plays an integral role in preserving the legacy of jazz.
