Exhibit of items owned by Margaret Mitchell relating to the making of “Gone With the Wind,” Margaret’s role in the movie, the premier, receptions, etc., including her typewriter, personal copy of the screenplay and final shooting script, and invitations, programs and photographs from numerous balls, dinner and events surrounding the movie opening.

The Black Girl Project Film Screening

Reflections on a Legacy Revisited: Grady Nurses’ Conclave Embracing the Dream

The Grady Nurses’ Conclave exhibit honors Ludie Andrews, R. N., the founder of the Municipal Training School for Colored Nurses at Grady Memorial Hospital in 1914. This exhibit contains new materials taken from the Grady Nurses’ Conclave Collection at the Auburn Avenue Research Library on African American Culture and History, and updated Grady Nurses’ Conclave history from 2001-2011.
