Reflections on a Legacy Revisited: Grady Nurses’ Conclave Embracing the Dream

Monday, August 8.-Tuesday, August 30. Library hours.

The Grady Nurses’ Conclave exhibit honors Ludie Andrews, R. N., the founder of the Municipal Training School for Colored Nurses at Grady Memorial Hospital in 1914.  This exhibit contains new materials taken from the Grady Nurses’ Conclave Collection at the Auburn Avenue Research Library on African American Culture and History, and updated Grady Nurses’ Conclave history from 2001-2011.
