The animation and dramatic gestures projected by Singer-Songwriter, Producer and Award winning “War Room” actress, Karen Abercrombie gave way to a spiritual experience that made God smile as she spoke to the crowd of almost 300 who attended the Annual Breakfast of the State Women’s Department of the Second Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of Pennsylvania.

Abercrombie, also a Motivational Speaker and an Aliquippa native, shared her testimony of God’s mercy, grace and provision to a vast audience that included Aliquippa’s Mayor Dwan Walker and a cross section of church hierarchy from every church denomination throughout the Allegheny and Beaver County communities.
Though no longer a resident of Pennsylvania Abercrombie spoke passionately of her Aliquippa family ties; she is the niece of the State Supervisor of Women, Mother Vineta Martin.

She indicated that it was her religious foundation in the Church In The Round that enabled her to prepare for the audition for the roll of “Mrs. Clara” in the movie entitled “War Room.” Her presentation to the directors caused an immediate and positive response as they had practically exhausted their search for the appropriate actress for the part. She encouraged those in attendance to be patient and not lose faith as God takes them through their personal journey and process to fulfill His promises in their lives.
The intense stares that at times transcended into outbursts of laughter, sighs and tears indicated that her words were well received. The event concluded with ovations of prayer and praise.
