20160725_104719On Monday, 2016 Democratic National Convention has officially kicked off on in the city of Brotherly Love at the Philadelphia Convention Center with a series of morning and afternoon sessions.

Among some of the key attended session included the Black Caucus and Hispanic Caucus meetings open to the public discussing issues and agendas as it relates to each core group’s interests.

However, since Sunday’s email leak releasing correspondence involving alleged bias towards the Hillary Clinton campaign, opposing Senator Bernie Sander’s primary election campaign resulted in the resignation of DNC Chair, U.S. Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

Still, it is not enough for Sanders supporters. The Vermont Senator addressed a packed room of 1,500 people in the ballroom at the PCC this afternoon in assuring supporters and delegates that he is endorsing Clinton. But, not convinced of the Sanders/Clinton ‘love fest’–disgruntled participants booed and loudly left the meeting throwing salt on Clinton’s name.

Unlike the Republican National Convention, held last week in Cleveland–the opening session of the DNC is packed out and a filled with diversity compared the RNC’s lackluster turnout.

DNC officials says, Monday will focus on putting the future of American families front and center and how we’re stronger together when we build an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top and when everyone has a chance to live up to their God-given potential.

Hold tight if you’re viewing the DNC from home–you have a long evening ahead of you. Check out Monday’s schedule of speakers with the headliner–First Lady Michelle Obama closing out the first day.
