LAS VEGAS, Nevada– Tuesday while speaking in Las Vegas, Hillary Clinton compared the opening of the Republican National Convention in Cleveland to the film “The Wizard of Oz,” calling it a “surreal” affair that offered more proof why voters should reject Donald Trump in November.
Clinton went on to describe the event so far as, “lots of sound and fury — even a fog machine,” reports the Associated Press.
The presidential hopeful continued, “when you pull back the curtain, it was just Donald Trump with nothing to offer to the American people.”
Clinton was speaking at the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, a trade union.
