CIVIL SERVANTS SERVANTS ENJOY 71 CENT LEGENDARY BURGERS ON JUNE 14 FOR HARD ROCK CAFE CHICAGO’S BIRTHDAY

HARD ROCK CAFE CHICAGO CELEBRATES
ITS BIRTHDAY WITH 71 CENT BURGERS FOR CIVIL SERVANTS

edited by Kai EL’ Zabar

Hard Rock Cafe Chicago is ready to party like it’s 1971! On June 14, 1971, Isaac Tigrett and Peter Morton opened the first-ever Hard Rock Cafe in London and an iconic brand was born. To honor the brand’s founders and celebrate its birthday on Tuesday, June 14, 2016, Hard Rock Cafe Chicago will offer civil servants who visit the cafe any Legendary Burger™ for only 71 cents.*

Plus, join Hard Rock Cafe Chicago in celebrating their birthday with their popular weekly interactive dinner show Rock Baby Rock, a family-friendly and fun-for-all-ages show starring Lance Lipinsky, an original cast member in the hit Chicago musical Million Dollar Quartet. In honor of the cafe’s birthday, Rock Baby Rock will incorporate never-before-played songs from the 70s into the performance and guests will receive a complimentary slice of birthday cake. Tickets for Rock Baby Rock are $50 and include a $20 food and beverage voucher to be redeemed during the show.
“To celebrate our birthday in true Hard Rock fashion, cafe locations across the country are offering any civil servant with a valid badge a savory offer to enjoy a sizzling Legendary Burger for only 71 cents,” said Alex Merchan, Senior Director of Marketing for Hard Rock International. “The party will continue all day on June 14, so we encourage all of our guests to stop by a local Hard Rock to join the festivities.”

Hard Rock Cafe’s Original Legendary® Burger features a Certified Angus Beef® patty topped with smoked bacon, Cheddar cheese, a golden fried onion ring, crisp lettuce and vine ripened tomato, served on a toasted brioche bun with Hard Rock’s seasoned fries. Just like the artists whose memorabilia lines the walls at Hard Rocks worldwide, the burgers that Hard Rock Cafe serves are nothing short of “Legendary.” All burgers are made with the highest quality meats, fresh toppings, savory sauces and rich, melted cheeses.

Two music-loving Americans founded the first Hard Rock Cafe in an old Rolls Royce showroom in London. After Eric Clapton asked to hang his guitar in that location, Tigrett and Morton had a vision to combine music, memorabilia and food for a one-of-a-kind guest experience. Since opening its doors in 1971, Hard Rock has evolved into one of the most globally recognized entertainment brands, with 164 cafes, 23 hotels and 11 casinos across 69 countries.

ABOUT LANCE LIPINSKY & THE LOVERS
“What’s good doesn’t die,” is a birthright motto Texas native Lance Lipinsky defends and feels obligated to broadcast to audiences. Since childhood he has showcased a musical persona hauntingly inspired from the past, carrying on a tradition to preserve a form of music that is becoming a lost art.
Lance’s songwriting and live showmanship can be described as a continuation, a sequel to a style that originated from the 1950’s and 60’s Atomic era. Some would label it as “oldies” or “nostalgia” but artists like Lance devoted in the Roots music movement, remind us that this style is not just a mere trend from the past but rather it’s own genre that is still alive and well, standing the test of time.
His hit debut original album “Roll” was recorded on all vintage analog equipment at the legendary Sun Records in Memphis, TN with his band, the Lovers.

Being born too late has its advantages and his wild live shows have led him all over the world, even to making his national television debut at the original Ryman Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN and appearing on the Late Show with David Letterman. He currently portrays his piano hero pioneer Jerry Lee Lewis in the Tony Award winning musical Million Dollar Quartet, now playing at the Apollo Theater in Chicago, Illinois.
