ATLANTA – Atlanta City Councilmember Michael Julian Bond is honorary co-chair of this year’s Atlanta Kidney Walk. Join Councilman Bond as he leads Team Atlanta in the National Kidney Foundation’s walk to fight kidney disease, raise awareness, and fund lifesaving programs.
Team Atlanta will walk for a good cause on Saturday, June 4 at Turner Field. The walk is free and t-shirts will be provided.
As captain of the city’s team, Councilman Bond hopes the event will educate, motivate, and encourage the community to be more active in bringing attentive to kidney disease.
