ATLANTA — The weather conditions don’t scream 2014, but the the National Weather Service issued a Freezing Rain Advisory for the following counties until 7 p.m. for the following counties in greater Atlanta and north Georgia:

North Fulton, DeKalb, Cobb, Murray, Fannin, Gilmer, Union, Towns, Pickens, Dawson, Lumpkin, White, Cherokee, Forsyth, Hall, Banks, Jackson, Madison, Gwinnett, Barrow.

The cold weather system is moving into the area and will bring freezing rain, according to Channel 2 Action News:

Meteorologist Karen Minton says some parts of north Georgia could see light freezing drizzle.

Minton says snow is not likely Monday.

“Temperatures are above freezing, as are the roads on north Georgia,” Minton says. “So no problems on that point.”
