A deranged reprobate named Torey Branch of New York became irate that his girlfriend, Mia Jones, was pregnant and refused to agree to an abortion. Subsequently, he is being charged with researching miscarriages on the Internet before commencing to beating the life out of his girlfriend’s fetus and brutally assaulting the woman in the process.
The woman and baby were beaten so badly that doctors had to remove the dead baby by C-section.
Branch is on trial for burglary, abortion, and criminal trespass in New York this week. Prosecutors allege Branch pressured Jones into having an abortion by giving her money and offered to take her to the clinic. But Jones, a single mother of four, refused to have an abortion and had already named her unborn child Kennedy.
This is when prosecutors allege Branch devised his devious and nefarious plot to abort the baby in the most inhumane way: beat the life of the fetus while inside the woman’s womb.
Investigators were able to trace Brannch’s Internet search history and found he had he typed in sentences that led to his indictment. Branch used what is called an “extraction warrant” and showing Branch used his Blackberry to type in such phrases as “Can being hit in the stomach cause a miscarriage” and “What happens when a pregnant woman gets hit in the stomach” in the weeks leading up to the attack, according to the New York cybercrimes unitl
On March 28, 2014, investigators state, Branch hoodwinked Jones by saying he wanted to have sex via the text “I wanna F**K.” Jones said she had just finished a medical appointment and walking out of the establishment when two masked men grabbed her in a building and beat her so badly the dead fetus had to be removed by c-section.
In addition to the mental and physical trauma she suffered from having her unborn baby murdered inside of her, Jones also suffered two fractured eyes and injuries so severe she needed two blood transfusions and stitches.
She testified, “I just wanted to hold her. I wanted her to breathe and wake up; she was lifeless … so innocent and beautiful. I loved her with all my life.”
Branch’s defense attorneys countered that Jones had several sex partners and that some other man had committed this heinous act.
If convicted, Branch faces up to 25 years in prison.
