Stacy Dash's answer to #OscarsSoWhite: 'Get Rid of BET and Black History Month'

Non-acting actress Stacy Dash, who continues to embody her most famous role in the movie Clueless, donned her top hat and tap-dancing shoes and appeared on FOX and forwarded the answer for blacks who believe the Oscars process is racist since no black American was nominated for the second year in a row:
Get rid of BET and Black History Month.
Her proposal seemed to surprise even the host who insincerely asked if the BET channel should exist. “I don’t think so. No. Just like there shouldn’t be a Black History Month,” she said. “We’re Americans, period. That’s it.” Until there is a “White History Month,” Dash said, black people don’t need their own.
Following the show, Dash hopped onto her Patheos blog to defend her comments after, in her words, people started “going nuts” about what she said on Fox. As she noted, it’s not the first time she has spoken out against Black History Month. Dash even had the audacity — the nerve — to even put herself in the same sentence as Oscar-winning actor Morgan Freeman as someone who agrees with her.
In 2005 Freeman said on “60 Minutes” that Black History Month is “ridiculous,” saying, “You’re going to relegate my history to a month? I don’t want a Black History Month. Black history is American history.”
Freeman added, rather imprudently and naively, that the only way to eliminate racism is to “stop talking about it.”
Dash’s comments apparently caught the attention of none other than Donald Trump, who was on Fox & Friends later in the morning and may have been watching her from the green room.
“I saw somebody on your show today say, ‘What do we do with BET, Black Entertainment, right?’ The whites don’t get any nominations. And I thought it was an amazing interview, actually. I’ve never even thought of it from that standpoint,” Trump said. “But with all of that being said, it would certainly be nice if everybody could be represented properly. And hopefully that’s the case, but perhaps it’s not the case. It’s a difficult situation.”
