DRIVEN: A Tribute to Multicultural Achievement in the Automotive Industry will honor James H. Colon Vice President of African American Business Strategy, North America Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A, Inc. with the Lifetime Achievement Award. In his current position, Colon is responsible for engaging African American business and media communities and finding viable ways to connect with Toyota’s dealer network. Prior to his current role, Colon was the vice president of product communications TMS, where he was responsible for creating, gathering and managing information and promotion initiatives for Toyota brand vehicles in addition to product and sales training. Colon began his career at Toyota in 1980.

Over the span of his career, he has impacted this industry beyond measurement. Jim is a trailblazer and has set the standard of excellence and continues to inspire future generations of automotive professionals. This year’s unveiling events and Award ceremony will be emceed by Fox 2’s Roop Raj. Celebrity DJ and Grammy Award- winning artist and producer Jermaine Dupri will host the afterglow.
