The rendering of the 220-room Hard Rock Hotel Atlanta that’s planned to rise on Centennial Olympic Park Drive near Mercedes-Benz Stadium has been released.
The hotel is scheduled to break ground in March 2016 and set to open in spring 2018.
The new hotel will include the following:
- outdoor swimming pool;
- rooftop bar;
- more than 10,000 square feet of meeting space;
- live entertainment shows;
- music memorabilia lining the hotel walls.
The hotel will be funded through the EB-5 program, part of the Immigrant Investor Program established by U.S. Congress in 1990 to stimulate the economy through job creation and capital investment by immigrant investors.
At present, the Hard Rock International today operates 22 hotels and 11 casinos spanning 10 countries, including the United States, Mexico, Panama, Spain, Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore, according to FloridaPolitics.com. It claims to owns the world’s greatest collection of music memorabilia, including an Eric Clapton guitar.
