After a nearly fatal accident that claimed the life of a close friend and resulted in months of rehabilitation, Tracy Morgan is back!
On Oct. 17, the comedian made his first returning appearance as host on Saturday Night Live. The event represented an emotional triumph; but in typical form, Morgan brought laughter to the moment, saying:
“People are wondering, can he speak? does he have 100% mental capacity? but the truth is, I never did!” I might actually be a few points higher now!”
Morgan thanks his supporters, comedy family, and even poked fun at the 2012 episode of “30 Rock” where his co-workers thought his character Tracy Jordan died. Guest appearances includes Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin.
