Trifecta Language and Cultural Institute to open soon

Ber-Henda Williams and Sandra Garcia have joined forces to create Trifecta Language & Cultural Institute, a language and cultural learning center that will offer classes in Arabic, Chinese, Korean Chaldean, Greek, French and Spanish.  Williams holds a BA in Spanish and a minor in international marketing, and has been bilingual for more than 15 years.  Garcia holds a dual BA in Communications & Hispanic Studies.  She was born in Jalisco, Mexico and raised in Southwest Detroit & graduated from Western International High School.
Trifecta Language & Cultural Institute will offer language classes coupled with information on the nuances of each culture the language represents.  “Sandra and I were colleagues at an immersion school and our friendship developed through our love of languages & culture,” said Williams.  “As a classroom teacher I noticed that learning a foreign language was often perceived as being hard and uninteresting, so Ber-Henda and I decided to create a space to change that perception”, Garcia stated.
Viewing Detroit as a cultural Mecca Williams & Garcia think it is the perfect location for a business focused on teaching languages and culture.  “The greater Detroit metropolitan area is a melting pot and home to many people of different cultures and primary first languages, that are spoken here on a daily basis,” Williams continued.  The announcement of Trifecta’s opening has created quite a buzz within the area.  Jo Coleman, retired media sales executive, local entrepreneur and philanthropist had this to about the opening; “I’m excited about Trifecta because for many years I have wanted to learn a second language.  Spanish is without a doubt the most prevalent language in our country after English & Trifecta offers the perfect opportunity for me to finally learn Spanish.”
Trifecta will begin offering classes for adults and children from age 6 to 12 on Tuesday, September 15th at 24441 Evergreen Road Southfield, MI 48075.  The cost for lessons for adults per semester is $360.00 and $250.00 for children.
On Saturday, August 15, Trifecta Cultural will host a launch party at Frida, located in Midtown Detroit at 15 E. Kirby, from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.  The launch party will feature live Latin musicians, art give-aways and introduction to Spanish, by assigning guest Spanish names and introducing them to a few phrases and words in order to spark conversation.  Over 250 guests are expected to attend the event.
Trifecta Language & Cultural Institute is also seeking to collaborate with businesses to help enhance relationships and understanding between the many cultures that call our area home.  In addition to offer language classes, Trifecta also provides professional translation services to individuals and business.  To learn more about Trifecta Language & Cultural Institute visit their Facebook page (Facebook @ Trifecta Cultural), follow them on Twitter (@3fectacultural) and Instagram (@Trifecta Cultural) email at trifectacultural@gmail.com or call them at 248-910-7712.
